IMPORTANT ROAD CLOSURE AND
PARKING RESTRICTION INFORMATION

On Sunday 20 June the Manchester Day Parade will take place in the city centre. The Manchester Day Parade is a new and spectacular addition to the City's annual calendar of events. Conceived with the ambition of celebrating the creativity and diversity which is synonymous with Manchester, it is a great opportunity for communities to celebrate individual and collective pride in their city. The Manchester Day Parade will be large in scale, surprising, high quality, colourful, noisy, enormous fun and, quite literally, out of this world - the theme for this year's parade.

The staging of the Manchester Day Parade will cause some short-term inconvenience and this letter is to advise you of temporary road closures and how best to avoid or work around them. Warning notices will be put up 7 days beforehand on key routes.
